Jim,Hailey and I are off in search of adventure in our Roadtrek Sprinter 'Ruby". Seeking adventure, good times, good food, good friends and a fabulous experience in this wonderful world.
I am retired-officially on Sept 6, 2012 ! Jim will be following in 14 months and counting. Until then we will be taking as many trips as we can in Ruby our Sprinter-shakedown trips to learn her ins and outs. Then when we sell the house and Jim retires we plan on taking off for at least a year, traveling and living in our Sprinter-wandering this beautiful country and Canada (maybe Mexico but still a little scarey!).

ReplyDeleteThanks Logan, your work is incredible, you are very talented.
DeleteWhat a beautiful, beautiful website :) I've just spent the better part of my afternoon perusing your pages! We have a lot in common in our quest to see the world in our tiny, but wonderful spaces! I'm looking forward to following your adventures :)

Kim, Thank you for the lovely comments.
ReplyDeleteThis is a little late, I see you've hit the road. But, congrats on the beginnings of your travels. My wife and I went thru pretty much the same thing as you in '11, New Jersey. She got this dream of escaping from NJ, and exploring the country. It's been 2 years, and it's been great.
ReplyDeleteWe were in Eugene the same time as you, hoping for a solar install at AM Solar. They were booked, but with their help and showing me the install they were currently working on, a Roadtrek (looked like your pics), I was able to installed it myself.
Anyways, you've got a nice blog, I'll be making a few of your recipes. We seem to have copied your route along the Oregon coast. Hailey, a Flatcoat? We had one that looked a lot like her. An amazing dog.
Enjoy the road and best of luck,
Scott

Hello! I ran across your wonderful blog while researching info for a trip we're planning to the Maritimes soon.
ReplyDeleteI also write a blog called Ordinary Life, www.ordinarylife-mk.blogspot.com.
We've had our Roadtrek SS Agile since February, have done several week or two- trips, but are planning this big one, at least 6 weeks, to the east coast USA and eastern Canadian provinces.
I see that you switched from Blogger to WordPress, something I'm considering. Was it a hassle? You could transfer all your archived posts and keep your followers? Did you have to change the blog title, or did you just want to do it? Thanks!
I signed up for your email posts, by the way. Look forward to seeing them!
Ditto Mary, love your blog, I sent you an email ref Wordpress!
